The One Dedicated to the She/He/Theys and Everyday Gays

Low-key stylish streetwear & dope designs for all Queers & Allies. (Think: all the Pride, minus the rainbow vibe.)

Born in the outer ‘burbs of Brisbane, QnA Apparel designs minimalist wardrobe staples with a distinctly stylish streetwear vibe for the everyday gay (and our proud allies), making them the perfect example of what happens when fashion meets advocacy.

As an inclusive brand for folks and folx of all walks (and gender expressions) of life, QnA’s mission is to give the LGBTQ+ community a relaxed, contemporary streetwear alternative, allowing everyone to wear their pride on their (understated) sleeve.

Working with brand owners, Kasey and Bianca, to bring QnA to life was not just a labour of love, but an absolute privilege.

Right from the get-go, we knew this was going to be a game-changer in the e-comm fashion space, so I went out of my way to push the boundaries of copy, language, and brand tone to create a genuinely authentic voice that resonated with the team.

From making big decisions - like dropping the traditional m/f style guide in favour of focusing on the fit - to the no-brainer choice to hire a member of the trans community to consult on the project and ensure ALL queer voices were represented, the whole process was an inspirational, educational, creative-AF rollercoaster.

The end result? A truly inclusive, modern e-comm brand that speaks to not just a community, but an entire generation.

Brand Story

We make clothes that suit your style, not what's in your daks.

As an LGBTQ+-owned brand intentionally created for the LGBTQ+ community, we understand that just because we fly the rainbow flag doesn’t mean we always wanna wear one.

Don’t get us wrong; we live for a multicoloured moment (#Slay #Iconic #StanForIt). But, we also recognise that being ‘out and proud’ looks and feels different to everyone - just as allyship does.

Some of us want to wear our pride on our sleeve without compromising our personal style; for others, it’s about balancing freedom of self-expression with personal safety in public. And for our straighty-mateys, it's searching for a way to show up meaningfully in the allyship space.

But we’re more than a clothing brand having a moment. QnA is a mindset and a movement that empowers rad humans to show up as their authentic selves with low-key ease, unshakable confidence, and dope style.

QnA: Low-key on the outside / Gay-AF on the inside.

 Shan is absolutely amazing!

When we saw how badass her wordporn was, we knew she was the one for us! From the initial meeting that we had to the final product, we were 100% stoked with everything she wrote. The amount of time (SO much time) and guidance she gave us with our new project was a true highlight. We wouldn't go to anyone else - and neither should you.
